Dana thomas is the author of Fashionopolis: The Price of Fast Fashion and the Future of Clothes, Gods and Kings: The Rise and Fall of Alexander McQueen and John Galliano, and the New York Times bestseller Deluxe: How Luxury Lost Its Luster, all published by Penguin Press. She is a regular contributor to The New York Times Style section and has written for The New York Times Magazine, The New Yorker, The Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times, Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Style Magazine, and Architectural Digest. In 1987, she received the Sigma Delta Chi Foundation’s Ellis Haller Award for Outstanding Achievement in Journalism. In 2016, the French Minister of Culture named Thomas a Chevalier of the Order of Arts and Letters.

Laboni is the founder and creative mind behind L SAHA and London True-Luxury Week. Laboni has worked in the luxury sector with a focus on sustainability since 2010. L Saha has been identified as a Positive Fashion Brand, by the British Fashion Council. Saha's holistic approach to 'True-Luxury' has gained her features in Forbes, The Sunday Times, Bazaar, The Independent, among other media channels.

Besides her role at L Saha and True-Luxury Week, Laboni is a guest lecturer at some of the key Luxury & Fashion Universities in London, including London College of Fashion & Istituto Marangoni.

Kresse Wesling MBE is a multi-award winning environmental entrepreneur. Kresse launched Elvis & Kresse, which turns industrial waste into innovative lifestyle products and returns 50% of profits to charities related to the waste. Elvis & Kresse’s first line is made from decommissioned fire hose. The company now collects 12 different waste streams, has several charitable partnerships and is involved with collaborations across industries, from fashion houses to FTSE 100 companies etc.

Chere is the Founder & Editor-in-Chief of Eluxe Magazine, the World’s first sustainable luxury magazine. Chere has always loved writing, fashion and languages, and holds degrees in Psychology and Art, and postgraduate degree in Applied Linguistics and Education. Her long career in journalism spans several continents. She has edited and written for prestigious fashion magazines including client magazine for the house of Dior among others. Besides shining the spotlight on brands with a ‘sustainable’ soul at Eluxe Magazine, Chere also taught at the prestigious School for Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London for over a decade.

Toby is the Over more than seven years he has built and trained the sales, operations and flight management teams in the UK and has also recruited for the US team. In 2018, he took on the Managing Director role for the Europe, Asia-Pacific and Middle East & North Africa regions. He leads the business development department to deliver new revenue streams in verticals such as group charter, and also works alongside marketing to establish commercial partnerships for Alto - the first loyalty programme in jet charter - bringing brands Sixt, Scott Dunn and Spencer Hart into the Alto ecosystem.

Sally is Chief Executive at Forum for the Future, where she involved in a number of projects including Cotton 2040, a multi-stakeholder collaboration designed to accelerate the mainstreaming of sustainable cotton, and the Protein Challenge, a global coalition focusing on how we can feed growing global populations in ways that are healthy, affordable and good for the planet. Sally also helped initiate Net Positive, a coalition of leading businesses, all working to define the next wave of corporate sustainability. She recently advised the United Nations Global Compact on how it can ensure its actions on health and wellbeing have the potential to deliver multiple benefits across multiple systems. She also regularly speaks at international and national conferences and writes for a range of publications to influence the debate on sustainability issues. Her articles have featured in wide-ranging publications such as the New Statesman, Huffington Post, Management Today and The Independent.

Sally received an OBE in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours List for services to sustainability in business. In 2019, she was ranked number one on Assent’s list of Top 100 Corporate Social Responsibility Influence Leaders.

Edwina Ehrman is a writer and author, and an Honorary Senior Research Fellow in the V&A’s Research Institute (VARI). She was formerly a Senior Curator in the Museum’s Fashion and Textiles department. She curated three exhibitions for the V&A: Fashioned from Nature, which explored sustainability in the fashion industry, Undressed: A Brief History of Underwear and Wedding Dresses 1775-2014. Her many publications include Fashioned from Nature (editor and contributor, 2018), London Couture 1923-1975: British Luxury (editor and contributor, 2015) and The Wedding Dress: 300 Years of Bridal Fashion (2011).

United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC)


Dr. Martin Frick oversees as Senior Director UNFCCC’s work supporting the implementation of the Paris Agreement and climate action.  He previously served as director for climate change at UNFAO. He was the German representative for human rights and humanitarian affairs at the UN General Assembly and served as the European Union’s lead negotiator in the establishment of the UN Human Rights Council. As Ambassador to the international organizations based in Germany, he helped building up the UN’s sustainability hub in Bonn. He holds a PhD in law and was a guest lecturer at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin.

He supports knowledge management and digital transformation within the Ecosystems Integration Branch based in Nairobi.  A native of Solano County, California USA, Michael holds a Master of Arts in Politics degree from The Claremont Graduate University.  His passions include digital transformation, nature and poetry.

Suzanna Vock is the creative mind and founder of Gwand, a platform for Swiss designers to get attention internationally since 1998. Suzanna supported emerging and established brands in their focus on sustainability including names such as Raf Simons, Haider Ackermann, Lutz Huelle and Benoit Missolin. Suzanna’s vision at Gwand has been supported by names including Credit Suisse, Moët & Chandon, American Express and her jury panel has been formed of prominent names in the luxury and fashion world, Vivienne Westwood, Isabella Blow, Diane Pernet, Jasmine Al Fayed, Roland Mouret, Michel Comte, Jean-Jacques Picart, Didier Grumbach and Antonio Berardi. With her insights in the mechanics of the industry and the circles behind it, Suzanna advises Fashion Brands and companies to gain a firm standing in the market.

Professor Carolyn Mair PhD CPsychol is a Behavioural Psychologist working with the fashion industry. From 2012-2017 she was full Professor of Psychology for Fashion at University of the Arts London where she created the world’s first Masters programmes to apply Psychology in the context of Fashion. She was awarded of the British Psychological Society’s Distinguished Contributions to Psychology Education Award for her work in broadening the reach of the discipline. Carolyn is frequently featured in the media and her book, The Psychology of Fashion, was published in 2018. She has a PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience, MSc Research Methods and BSc Applied Psychology and Computing.

Natascha Radclyffe-Thomas is a National Teaching Fellow, Vice Chair of The Costume Society and Editor-in-Chief for Bloomsbury Fashion Business Case Studies. Natascha's cross-disciplinary research spans creative industries practice; sustainable fashion; social enterprise and responsible business; cultural heritage, consumer behaviour and international fashion marketing.

Natascha has extensive experience teaching in Europe, Asia and North America and is an award-winning case study author and co-author of Fashion Management: A Strategic Approach (Palgrave Macmillan). Natascha has presented at conferences internationally and her publications have appeared in journals including the Journal of Fashion Management and Psychology Aesthetics Creativity and the Arts.

Natascha is a contributor to industry and media pieces on fashion business and consumer behaviour including for the BBC, SHOWstudio and The Ellen MacArthur Foundation.​
